The abstaining or absent votes were akin to supporting Russia. They were votes against the USA.
Not necessariĺy. Most of the abstainers are 3rd world clients of Russia, and a few bigger fishes like India dealing with Russia, and China fishing for its interests in the bloodshed. All groups deserve contempt. Being silent or outright supportive of the Russian imperial aggression in Ukraine will cost the third world dearly. They will not be able to sway as many useful idiots in the West the next time a conflict happens there, bloody hypocrites.
A ground explosion sends debris up and then they fall down. A video I posted before clearly shows an explosion on the upper floors of a building and no signs of a missile. With barely existent damage to buildings/surface and no fires, that's not how missile explosions work. You will have tough time to spin the Russian propaganda narrative here, but it never prevented you from repeating the same bs ad nauseum before.

Signs of Neutrality rather than in alliance to something that evil. And that is called the oppressive totalitarian rule from the Kremlin/Army/even corrupted Police with false sick warped views of Soviet Union. Not necessarily, "Russia". A lot of people don't want this to happen over there.
Kazakhstan especially, and Azerbaijan can't vote because of serious worry.

Why did one of the United States’ closest partners in the Middle East decline to vote against Russia? The UAE was probably hedging its bets, a path that seems popular elsewhere in the region, too.
The gulf monarchies’ ambiguity over Ukraine is more about their relations with the United States than their interests in Russia. As other global and regional powers seek to fill the vacuum left by American retrenching from the region, extreme hedging has become appealing. If two global powers are in conflict — in this case, the United States and Russia — aligning with neither of them, or with the third global power, China, may seem wise.
The Persian Gulf(Including UAE) almost got attacked by Iran back in January 2020 just before the Worldwide Pandemic. Almost had to fear an invasion. Planet Earth is lucky Iran still behaved very well and stability returned quite fast even deep into the Virus error months to years later. Why couldn't Russia and Ukraine just follow that close call rather than an already almost irreversible tragedy.
People in the Persian Gulf have to exclusively be only on the side of Ukraine. Because you almost dealt with that from Iran. Otherwise, you are all fools. And if you from UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, never support tourism visits in Russia. Wait a few years at least. Stat economic sanctions with Russia, please. I bet Brazil, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia are the next ones to follow suit.

Only part of the street is visible on your video. The people in the foreground begin to run before a visible explosion.

Of course.

It doesn't matter what people want. Tourism doesn't matter. Waving Ukrainians flags doesn't matter.
What matters is strategic alliances. If you read the article, it says:

It's ambiguity over relations with the United States. Fill vacuum left by American. Aligning with a third global power like China.
It's not pro-Russia. UAE and other Persian Gulf counties are no longer aligning with the USA. It's that American hegemony is over. They no longer believe in the political, economic, and military predominance of the USA over other countries.
People tend to think of the Ukraine conflict as an emotional conflict over right vs. wrong, freedom vs. dictatorship, David vs. Goliath.
Countries aren't emotional. Instead countries see the strategic importance of shaping their futures. EU countries best interest to continue aligning with the USA. Non-EU countries have different objectives as their UN votes illustrates.
