Everyday aggression, rudeness, ill temper, disregard for each other, jousting to establish/protect pecking orders, street language bursting with slang and curses, criminal lingo that went mainstream. That is Russia.
Not only that, but many Russian "cultured" tourists and emigrants take those attitudes with them whenever they go. It is easy to spot people from the lands affected by great Russian imperial civilization so to speak. When I see a grumpy arse who thinks he is too special/street smart to do things regardless of the rules or common courtesy (the concept which is foreign for many) and/or I see a guy who is rude or oblivious to the low end service workers I don't really need to look twice for adidas labels on his training pants or hints of slavic on his face. American Ghetto is the closest analogy to the Russian cultured behaviorial patterns, former soviet block in general shares some of that, but Russians simply stand out (for some time at least it takes to polish that attitude off here in USA).
The Russians are easy to spot here. The father wears the cheapest jeans but an expensive leather jacket. He is fat, has very poor shoes but has a lot of bling: expensive watch, gold chains on every limb and on the neck.
The mother looks like a fur farm. Ushanka, fur coat, fur boots and leopard-themed clothes. She is 45 but looks like 65.
Then there's the daughter. Very tight trousers to reveal her skinny legs and tight butt, but wears high heels though it's 0C and icy outside and walks like a penguin. Dresses like a w**re, and have nails like a witch.
Finally the son. As cheap jeans as his father, adidas jacket, typical Russian haircut, and smells awful, as he bathes twice every year.

And I thought, why I do not see these characters on the territory of Russia. It turns out they all have emigrated to you))
It's just wonderful that they have you and they will not return

We will not take them. But when they visit we will anybody's money if they're giving it to us! A babushka with no money is useless. A babushka with money is a fine guest.
For the ones who come violently we have mass graves in store.
Comrade you can bs cd date people cumulatively damaged by the myth of Russia who have no clue, not me. Everyday aggression, rudeness, ill temper, disregard for each other, jousting to establish/protect pecking orders, street language bursting with slang and curses, criminal lingo that went mainstream. That is Russia. Russian mainstream wholeheartedly adopted criminal code of ethics, myth and culture as well as semi fascist Putin regime precisely because both resonated so well with the deep seated Russian view of the world. In short - society/world consists of the people/groups/nations who matter and the ones who do not. People who matter can impose their will on and live off the people who dont (лохи) as well as disregard the laws in general. Actually it is a matter of duty, honor and public service to do so. Sure, power and money are self-evident proofs of status commanding respect and special perks (thus importance of appearances in Russian life, just like in a ghetto here, to let other people know not to mess), but the rest of the Russian society is locked in everyday battles to establish who matter more and thus can disregard and take advantage of those who matter less. Yes, video is a conflict over some silly things, and yet it gives a better clue about generic Russian life than all your posts combined. When you are in Russia expect see/be a part of silly conflicts like that. Just like in a ghetto, every silly conflict and pretence is a matter of status and it is not taken lightly no matter how silly it might be.
You have very well described modern Ukraine. Now it's fashionable to write about your problems, but blame Russia for them.
Maybe you so it becomes easier, but the problems do not disappear. https://youtu.be/Rqb1PKIbyEM

The video was shot for a long time, and the sign was also removed for a long time. But with the advent of Independence "hydrangea" residents had to hang the jogging lane again to somehow protect themselves from the dark side "Evromayna", which proved to be more than naive "revolutionaries." Evroimaydan obkakal and broke the whole country in a literal and figurative sense.
Social advertising asks Ukrainians not to write and do not defecate in the entrances, because it is not culturally.

Who will not you accept? They already all live with you)

We will not take putin bots.
We take political opposition persons, minorities, gays... Ukrainians...
But for sure, all Russians are welcomed if they come in peace.
