LOL.... well, put it in the history books... SKBS stayed home all day today and sat on her DUFF! Well, I had to for Diva.... but really I am impressed! I wasn't sick or anything!!! And Hubby is home and I am not itching to go out or anything.... I think something might be wrong with me.... LOL

Dinner is done and everyone is HAPPY! It was pasta, with green beans thanks to birds eye- the one with the bavarian sauce- it was really good had some bacon in it....mmmmmmm, and a HUGE salad that made me VERY happy totally SKBS friendly loaded with TONS of veg.... Hubby went back for like THIRDS.... and the kids pounded the blueberries for dessert..... very successful.

The chicken would have been better if we'd marinated it longer, but it was still good.

Nomad, we're waiting on that pie.....

I am going to saute a pound of fresh Maine shrimp in garlic butter and olive oil....(the fishmonger said it will only take about one minute to cook them)....then I am serving them in the rough on a bed of fine linguini and perhaps some steamed spinach on the side with lemon juice. Sounds perfect to me.

Sounds more than perfect - and sounds like there's plenty to share - I'm getting in the car now....

Oh no no pies tonight. That be a coconut cream pie from Publix. Well the wander wife made it home and we are offically having home style beanie weenies made with some spicy little sausages. I'll doctor mine with some jalapenos and have some orange, apple, and raisin salad later.

Oh, but Goldfish crackers (cheese, I presume) are addictive! You should get you some soup to go with those crackers. It's a great way to keep warm. If you've got it, get it.
