Your cake sounds divine, I like red wine and chocolate together.
I missed it...I missed it.... dang.... though the adjectives I have are a tad colorful.... I don't think I can use them in WHATS FOR DINNER.... unless I start saying things like HOLY GUACAMOLE!!!! OH SUGAR COATED CANDY CANES!!!! DRIPPING DRUMB STICKS! BBQ COATED BUBBLE GUM! That almost feels as good.... you all should give it a go.... at least it makes a Foodie laugh a bit I tend to use the food adjectives to avoid my kids picking up on the REALLY BAD ONES...... Food humor in frustrating times.....

Well quickly.... for starters (OT...) I want to thank all of you, my DEAR Foodie Friends for your thoughts and prayers while I was away at the hospital today with my Grandmother. It really means a lot to me...it is great to know you all care so much. I always like to do the bad first followed by the good.... The ambulance came at 5am and she ended up flat lining on the way when they gave her the nitro.... they used the paddles...ran tests... but good news it turned out NOT to be a heart attack...She is in a room... They are trying to figure out what it was...All other things bp, temp, 02, heart rate....normal and steady... good... Again... thank you all!!!!!!!! From the bottom of my heart. She does worry me so....

DINNER.... I grabbed soup and a sandwich at panera tonight with Diva- who I pulled out of school early due to the storm and took to the hospital with me (no Karate for OBVIOUS reasons)

See you all in the morning.....

I'm hoping to pull off fried pork chops tomorrow night...Been awhile since we had those.. broccoli and a mound of mashed taters would be a fitting marriage...

Evening, all! I was way behind on the posts and I can't remember all to comment on, but I do want to say that I am truly happy that your grandma is ok, skbs.

Ever since I moved back here from Vegas, I have been cooking for my daughter, her BF and my youngest daughter. Tonight, I told them it was their turn and they were going to make tacos. But...I had to run to pick up the youngest and since I was out I was having a hankering for 5 dollar pizzas from Little Caesars. It's cold and snowy, so it worked out.

Maybe tacos tomorrow.

Jeepers that sounds scary... Hope it's just a one-off and there's nothing wrong... My gran had quite a few serious 'turns' in her old age that got us all rushing to the hospital - my sister thinks she was just testing us out to make sure 'the cavalry' all came charging for her every time!

Don't know about the date but Hershey will do...

How about a chocolate dreaming event....I got that one all taken care of.

I just remembered. Got to get the fudge coated brownies made soon. Guess I need to get into shape here.
