So wonderful to see you back kelsie. I knew you were going to be dealing with the snow problems and was concerned about that. It sounds like you guys were smart doing what you did. How is your daughter?? Yes, now you can just stay inside for awhile and relax. The weather here is suppose to be clearing up tomorrow...or so they say! Ha!
Oh my, I've been doing the unthinkable again---chatting without staying on topic...... so tonight we are having cube steaks quick fried with mashed potatoes and green beans. Simple with little clean-up. I am tired tonight.

Well tomorrow night its going to have to be a nice Thai panang curry with fresh king prawns (always buy uncooked taste better), mushrooms, red pepper, lime leaves, fresh lemongrass, coconut milk, fish sauce

I cook at a high temperature and use a good quality wok, i always cook with peanut oil.

For the panang paste:

Red chili pepper
fennel seeds
coriander seeds
lemongrass
lemon zest
galingal
shallots
garlic gloves
Oh yum! Can I make it in time for dinner?

I'd vote bleu cheese burger, especially with fried onions. Calcium, veggies, protein, sounds 'good' to me You could always wash it down with a Weiss-bier and claim it was made with whole wheat.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it

In honor of the cold and ice, I made a pot of chicken chili. I just kind of made it up as I went along, LOL, but it turned out SO GOOD! So, I've got to write it down -- it's a keeper!

Boy, I go away for a few days and look what happens????

Oh well, I still love all my lil 1 point friends! LOL

The lasagna was good. It was not great. After all of that, I wanted spectacular!!!! Oh well, believe it or not, I actually put too much meat sauce in it - which is hard to do since I love the meat in it!

Cyn, two words: Sugarfree gum. It saved me.

Dinner (spaghetti w/red sauce, meatballs, sausage and pork chops) was good. I skipped the chicken as we could barely find the sauce with all the other stuff in there.

Since we are just another chat thread now suppose we can talk about anything we want to reckon? Of coures most of our chatting will still be food related.
