Ugh. Decisions. When I go out tonight, am I good and get a Cobb salad, or can I be bad and get southwest chicken egg rolls, or a bacon and blue cheese burger, or BBQ pork sliders........

Deciding what to get is such a struggle when I go out to eat!!

I don't know if it makes it better or worse for you to point out that a Cobb salad, with all its avocado, bacon, bleu cheese, egg, and heavy pouring of ranch or bleu cheese dressing.. might have more calories than the burger!

All those choices sound delicious to me.

I think I gained 40 or more the year I quit and havent really lost it...and that was more than 15 years ago. Better watch it a little Cyn. But I would rather have the weight than be smoking.

The Dr. just smiled at me and said he doesn't see a problem. As I said before I am lucky because I am thin but at this rate I could change that! Ha! I refuse to buy a different size in levis so if you hear on the news of some old lady being arrested for indecent exposure you'll know I could no longer fit in my pants!!!

Hello Foodie Friends--Kelsie's Back! Thank God!!

Lived in E. NC for 5 1/2 years and only had a small dusting of snow maybe 3 times that never even stuck to the ground. Not last Tues. (20th) when we were going to leave for the airport 6-8 inches. Well, I saw the forecast on the news Mon. night so we did the smart thing, left for Raleigh Mon. night and stayed in a motel, left the car there and took the shuttle 1 1/2 mi. to the airport, accidents all over the place. Lots of delays, but had a great flight. We left yesterday to come back home in guess what? Snow. But we are back and safe and I hope we don't have to go back up No. for awhile. Oh, and one other thing, my bf FORGOT to tell me that everyone up there had colds, so of course this past Sunday I had to get it.

It will take me awhile to catch up here, I hope everyone has been fine, please pm me if there is something I should know or I can help with.

Dinner tonight is simple Rigatoni and breaded chicken cutlets.

It's good to be back, missed all of you. Will check in later. kelsie

Wow you guys are spoiling me with your menus. My mouth is watering

Well tomorrow night its going to have to be a nice Thai panang curry with fresh king prawns (always buy uncooked taste better), mushrooms, red pepper, lime leaves, fresh lemongrass, coconut milk, fish sauce

I cook at a high temperature and use a good quality wok, i always cook with peanut oil.

For the panang paste:

Red chili pepper
fennel seeds
coriander seeds
lemongrass
lemon zest
galingal
shallots
garlic gloves
