Yesterday evening I went to a Chinese restaurant with a friend whom I haven't seen in months altho she lives two houses down the street...
Anyhoo, I behaved myself pretty good and only had half a bowl of coup (sour/hot soup) and a coke.
Let's see what tonight will bring.
Maybe some spaghetti Bolognese...

And it is so nice to be thought of ! My associations run more on word associations with the screen name.....kshe....my mind associates it with KASHA....a buckwheat groat....LOL
Now I did give a cusory glance at the freezer this morning but havent made any decisions about supper....we have had two seafood meals in a row ..... so tonight won't be a third... my dear partner had my "American Chop Suey" for lunch yesterday .... he didnt complain but I know he didnt like it.... (and it was and is delicious) so I won't do a ground beef supper.... hmmmmmmmmmm? Pork chops....but probably not "elstons way" lol....more likely panko crisp....with apple sauce on the side.
Don't knowyet....today is Wed...Karate night.... and we are supposed to get DUMPED ON today.... between 9-3pm.... not looking forward to it. These are the days that make me want to just hunker down and skip out of Karate.... but I think hubby would shoot me.... ugh.... I know driving is going to stink tonight.... double UGH UGH.....
Anyway- back to food... gotta be quick and easy... why do I feel like I am ALWAYS SAYING THAT???!!!! My life seems to be on the fast track or something..... I need to speed up Rachael Ray's 30 min meals to 5 min meals! Especially on nights like tonight when I have to eat and run.... TRIPLE UGH UGH UGH.....OH... and the chicken.... that is another story....didn't work out AGAIN last night... ended up making tacos with that vegetarian crumbler "meat"... which hubby and I love and so does the Chatterbox.... of couse DIVA HATES IT.... LOL.... Tonight.... I might have to get back to you.....LOL.....I think I woke up on the wrong side of the kitchen.....I better feed the kids they are starting to wander down the stairs.......... OH.... somebody has her tiara on!!!!! let's hope it stays that way!!!!!!! (oh, no it isn't me.....)
I forgot to post what we had for dinner last night----it was pretty uneventful but filling.....beef and bell pepper chow mein with egg rolls and rice.
Elston if you don't mind sharing how do you make your pork chops with the panko? I just might have to give that a try. Probably have it with mashed potatoes, applesauce and corn.
Today is another follow up Dr. appointment from my emergency in Dec. So far all is good and the Dr.s are pleased at the no smoking!! All that money I have saved by not smoking I am using to pay Dr.s! Ha!
