After a few more tastes, the chili probably could have used a little more chili powder. I'll work on that for next time. Cornbread turned out perfect, but huge.
You have not forgot about all the engineering changes I made to your tomato pie have ya....We were to make more pies today but I slept all day.....That is my story at the moment... that and didn't have any smoked pork chop to put in one...Think I getting some chives for the next one in lieu of the chopped green onions...maybe some leeks too...I promise I will not corrupt it with ground beef or turkey... Only high quality pork goes in my tomato pies...
What a travesty!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To think - Sir Nomad would actually ALTER this most wonderful pie recipe????? I am just all aflutter! (LOL, don't really know what that means, but sure sounds right -on!)
DH just called...he's stopping at Wendy's on the way home and picking up a couple of salads. In the meantime, I'm having a strawberry daiquiri. Hey, it's fruit, right???

While pasta was boiling I chopped up a slice of pancetta and crisped it in a little oil, tossed with the pasta, tapenade, a little pasta water, and grated cheese. Pretty tasty for a 15 minute dinner
I have a problem with signing in to City-Data on my MAC, I lost my password. Right now, I am on my laptop, where I have an automatic sign in. However, this one is old and may crash any day. So, I did send an email to the webmaster asking for a new password, hopefully, I will get an answer.
Normally, I use my laptop only in the evening when DH is home and is using the MAC. So, if I am not posting until the evening, that is the reason.
On to dinner...........we had the leftovers from our Chinese dinner last night.
Have a good rest of the night guys!
