Jaxson.... I am pretty uptight about ages for movies and such. So, I don't know I am the one to ask. I would say prewatch it on DVD and then decide. I like that the message is don't just sit there and let the guy walk all over you.... don't just TAKE it... in the game of Dating that is. It was a good movie. But just prewatch it. I really am a toughy on movies/tv. I don't even like Hannah Montanna and Suite Life and such for Diva right now and she is in First Grade... I would rather she watch PBS and Noggin. Which I know isn't cool....but I think the other shows are too sassy and send the wrong kind of message for a little DIVA she already is.... I am tough.....
Dinner.... I am being lazy. I really still haven't figured it out.... I think I am going to just bread up some chicken breasts.... bake up some yams... broc... baked beans.... corn.... ok... there ya go.... LOL...done....haha
Tender mouth jumped on the offer of fried potato sandwiches for dinner....Getting something I like and didn't have to apply any pressure at all....I sure this dinner will have an extension later in the evening...
Fried potato sandwiches???!!!??? PLEASE can I have your rec? My hubby loves, ....no ADORES potatos! That would be a surprise doe dinner one night!
skbs I know what you are saying on some of the Disney shows I will check it out on DVD first thanks! Glad we could help figure out what you were making for supper.
We don't even have cable. We are totally uncool! Now all our kids are in high school, they watch the movie first and tell us if we should watch them or not. Especially our DD, because she works at a movie theater, she watches most movies that come out and tell us which one we should watch. When they were little, I was totally strict.
Tonight's dinner still steak and potatoes as planned.
You can do crackers with chili. I do that most of the time already. It's just that today I just thought that my supper tonight would just offer me something a little bit different. You can also do cornbread with chili. Must be a Texas thing.
We love cornbread with most anything! LOL One thing we really do like with chili is "Cheese-its" - those little square cheese crackers! Don't know how we got started on it, but can't shake the habit now.

I would like it too!
Ok, for dinner DH talked me into oven fried pork chops, homemade mashed potatoes (he will not eat the instant), green beans with smoked ham hock, cream gravy, and baked beans with bacon.

DH just called...he's stopping at Wendy's on the way home and picking up a couple of salads. In the meantime, I'm having a strawberry daiquiri. Hey, it's fruit, right???
Thanks to the chicken question on the food forum, I'm now craving Church's.
Omg, we had Church's over the weekend and boy was it good! I had forgotten how good it is - plus the biscuits have a honey flavor!
