I had a Night Hawk frozen Dinner and the wife had a Marie Callender chicken pot pie I think.

Grilled chicken in soy sauce, honey and jalepenos, sauteed string beans in garlic chili paste, quinoa/black bean/corn/tomato/grilled pasilla/avocado salad. Dressing for salad and chicken: green chili hot sauce, agave, fresh cilantro, greek yogurt and lime. Side of papaya.

Last night was braised pork belly in lettuce cups with "pickled" carrots, red cabbage, daikon and apple.

It was my first pork belly, the glaze was amazing but I over cooked it.

I just did not feel like cooking the dinner posted earlier.

Leftover broccoli and zucchini casserole, steamed potatoes with a healthy serving of steamed broccoli leaves.

Picked up a package of "country style" beef. They look like chuck steaks to me but who knows. I threw them in the crockpot for a version of the Mississippi Roast recipe. Will serve cracked potatoes and green beans with bacon dressing. If I remember, may start the bread machine for rolls. Dessert will be leftover rice pudding and tres leche.

I'm hoping for pan fried haddock, sweet potato, and mustard greens. We might be out of mustard greens and if so cheesy spinach will work.

I didn't do any cooking yesterday since I had a very late evening at the office. I don't know what the family ate. Tonight, I'm giving them beef fillets with portobello sauce, sweet potato fries, corn and zucchini saute, and raspberry sorbet with mini-shortbread cookies.

It's spaghetti night! Sauce from our garden tomatoes, eggplant from the garden, and an Anaheim. Onions, garlic, and all spices/herbs but the basil from the store. My garden makes me happy today!

Just got home from bridge and ate way too much. I don't know what time spoiled brat ate lunch. He isn't home right now. I am guessing dinner tonight will be on the light side. I have a couple chicken thighs I am going to brown, probably make a green salad and I guess something else, but am not sure what. I might steam some carrots. I know what we won't have: bok choy, because it is finally gone and squash cause spoiled brat isn't crazy over it and we have had it several times in the last few weeks.
