magicshark; last nights dinner looked pretty darn good.

Tonight we will have Sunday grill. We have a new meat market in town, so we stopped in a couple of days ago and bought a nice slab of London Broil, which if grilled and sliced right we really enjoy. I am also going to marinate some veggies: turnips, asparagus, peppers and mushrooms. If spoiled brat wants a potato I will bake one for him or we will have a green salad. Oh, now I remember, we decided not to have the salad I made last night, we had too much food so we are having it tonight. I am glad I didn't add the dressing or the trash would be having the salad instead of us.

I have an 8 pound pork shoulder smoking on the grill right now. Sides might be store bought salads and some slider buns. Might be having a last minute dinner get together with my MIL, BIL, SIL and (kids if they aren't working) I have to run to the store to get a few items.

Thanks for the idea magicshark!!!!! About once a year I will chance a pit fruit. Most that we get here are horrible and go from unripe to rotten in the center, BUT I chanced a flat of nectarines from Costco ($13) and it paid off!! I ate one slightly unripe and it was still insanely good......

I will have to grill some!!!

Anyway, picked up a pepperoni pizza at Costco, will add: tomato, olives, onions, garlic, bell pepper, spinach and more cheese and have hubby grill it.

We've gotten in the habit recently of having take home from Bush's Chicken. Breasts, coleslaw and either fries or fried okra. Honey roll too.

I have found that they grill best when they are slightly unripe, because they don't fall apart on the grill. Grilled, sliced, and drizzled with real balsamic vinegar.
