Still have three leftover chicken pot pies from last night's dinner. Will have dinner rolls on the side.

Dry rub spare ribs, cooked low and slow in the oven and finished with sauce under the broiler..
A nice Cole-Slaw will accompany these and some sort of potato, either roasted or fried..

Am at a loss: I have marked on the menu fish and chips, which means frozen cod and french fries plus cold slaw but we have had similar food all week and I am ready for something different. We have had steak one night, brats one night, chicken fried steak and breaded chicken breast. I want something different but also know it is getting closer and closer to dinner time and I haven't taken anything out. I can't do soup cause spoiled brat had soup for lunch. I think maybe i will just take out a piece of salmon. It defrosts pretty quickly. I can still do the cold slaw and I have home grown beets I got at the farmers market about 10 days ago. Think that is what I am going to do.

Chicken with kale sausage (I usually get the one with broccoli rabe in it but thought I'd give this one a try), with sautéed orange and yellow peppers and onions. Debating on roasting some baby gold potatoes or frying them (yes, I know roasting is the healthier option lol) and a mixed green salad on the side.

Oh, and some good crispy ciabatta bread!

Still chilly. June is not usually "soup weather" - but in NE OH tonight? It is.

So, I made one of my comfort foods - Cheddar and ale soup with home made large soft pretzels. German potato salad.

Apple cobbler is still here if DH wants desert. I am having a bowl of cherries.

It's not very hot here, in Dixie either. I'm making veggie soup with homemade noodles for tomorrow night.
