new fridge is installed. It will take some getting used to -- bigger than my old one, but less modular in terms of ability to arrange things, so I've found the pride of ownership has immediately taken a back seat to the frustration of dealing with what I want vs. what I can do. It's not a fridge for a cook. It's a fridge for take-out and pre-processed foodstuffs.
At any rate, once it was in and running and I had racked the few salvageables that made it through from Saturday, I went to the grocery store and picked up a few things to get me to the next regularly scheduled shopping trip. tonight will be pan fried cod filets, and green beans with mushrooms.
Tonight my husband is grilling a couple of beautiful rib eyes, baked potatoes with all the fixins, a large garden salad, crusty Italian bread and couple of bottles of Cabernet. I am salivating over the thought of a nice, juicy steak. I am a gal who loves her meat!
A large portion of Miso soup, 3 slices of high protein/fiber bread with healthy-style margarine & strawberry spread and a mug of black tea with a teaspoon of sugar

Since I don't eat meat, I swap out the beef and pork for other things. Still delicious.
