I cooked thick lamb chump chops fried in rosemary and garlic butter with mashed potatoes, long-stem brocolli and oven-baked carrots and parsnips with a rich wine gravy.
I horsed several large gin and tonics in herself beforehand and opened a 14%ABV Rioja for dinner.
All my misdemeanours of the last month, of which there have been many, were instantly forgiven.
I now have a shedload of brownie points.
I know.I'm a shameless tart. But after all these years I know which buttons to press ...

Tonight it will be tuna melts on rye; Lays potato chips; BLTS on toasted wheat rolls; pickles; and G&Ts. Alas, the last of the poor carrot cake was consumed for lunch.

Finally having the mac and cheese I had been planning on for over a week. I am adding hatch chilis and as always stewed tomatoes. We will have a big green salad with it. This is standard for mac and cheese in or house.

Pizza night but first we must have a salad jk, on the sad face. I like my salads. Added diced tomato, probiotic raisins, tortilla strips. Trying to finish off my bottle of Stewart’s orange cream soda. Not tonight though. Water on the side. Think I’m stuffed again.

Dessert: Contemplating. Surely not now. Possibly an hour away and only if I can convince Mr C about splitting a lemon cupcake. Oops,... think it might be a [thin] slice of watermelon instead.

Takeout. Dogboa had red curry with chicken and fried rice. I had sushi, a vege roll and a shrimp tempura roll, well, half of each. We have dessert from the Italian bakery since we went there to get some special cheeses. Dogboa couldn't make up his mind so I told him I wanted oreo cheesecake and then went to get the cheese, while he decided what he wanted.
