Yeah, that's right. The creator is from High Point and went to UNCG. She talks about the Green Point name here: https://youtu.be/WYzb-P2uFWY?t=42
Every trailer I've seen for the show (haven't seen a full episode) suggests the key characters are stereotypical backward country bumpkins. In this video she says "think 'King of The Hill' set in the Triad." That will not make urban enthusiasts very happy.

She says in her interview that she does not want to portray the yeehaw type stereotype, and I don’t get that from the show either, seems like a sensible show so far, and I’m glad none of them act like crazy rednecks, she just wants to portray a modern southern family, I especially like that the daughter is a artist and creates dope fan fictions. Apparently the girlfriend is from Milwaukee, the mom is from south Carolina, the boyfriend is from Sanford NC.
It shows. I do wonder how they’ll incorporate greensboro(or whatever it’s called) that city looks far away from Greenpoint the town. The skyline looks nice tho lol.
It's nice to finally see this topped since it seemed like the project might've died for a while after it was proposed back in like 2010 or whenever.
meanwhile 400 bellemeade just started and it will be topped off in A couple months, Carroll south and the Westin will be eventually rising quickly aswell.
Honestly looks like 400 Bellemeade will top out sometime next week.
