Something looks to be leasing the former Subway at 1119 Woodruff. Not sure what, but there's an "under contract" sign on the available signs.

This has been previously mentioned. But The Charlotte Observer reports today that the Habit Burger Grill is expanding this year in the Charlotte region and also the Upstate with a location planned for Greenville. But no additional details. There is currently a SC location in Indian Land near Charlotte in Lancaster County. They are known for fresh prepared char-grilled burgers and are now owned by Yum Brands, the parent of KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut. They are a more upscale, better quality fast food burger brand, perhaps competing with Shake Shack, Culver's, and In N Out.
Now just waiting for more news on the Whataburger.

I’ve eaten at Habit a few times when out in California for work. Really good burgers at a decent price point. But that was before they were bought by Yum. Hopefully they have still maintained the same quality, but the other Yum brands aren’t exactly known for that so I have my doubts.

Habit Burger Grill already has a location confirmed coming soon to Spartanburg, in the Barnes and Noble parking lot.
They also have confirmed interest in a site in Anderson.

Have not heard of where they may be going in Greenville.

Today the Charlotte Observer reports on the biscuit craze expanding in Charlotte, with Hardees, Bojangles, Biscuitville, and now the more upscale Viscious Biscuit from Charleston is coming there. Seems like they might also want to consider a Greenville location, but it was not mentioned.

I wish they would! I could use a Silence of the Hams about now!

It appears that Patton Development SC LLC is the one that owns the land along with buying land at 408 W Georgia Road just the other side of I-385 next to the old Ingles lot and also at 8304 W Georgia Road at the corner of Georgia and Augusta. Doing some digging around shows that there is a Patton Development WV LLC that is building a bunch of Dollar Generals in West Virgina and the owner of that company is a Tab Patton and he is from Greer. Additionally if you search Patton Development on the Greenville Permit site it brings up a whole list of permits for Dollar General locations.

So I'm going to go out on a limb here and say we have stumbled upon the next 3 Dollar General locations for Greenville LOL

Lord knows we need more of those prefab looking DG buildings around the county with litter all over the parking lot I wondered what was going on the corner of W. Georgia and Hwy 25. Looks like they had started some work there. Only a DG every few miles on Augusta Rd. and they can't even keep their existing stores stocked properly.
