Someone posted on Facebook that Hipburger is going to open a location in Easley, possibly in the former Captain D's building. Has anyone seen anything about this?
I will be able to disclose where a new Fazoli's Italian fast food restaurant will be going within the next couple of weeks. Fazoli's is preparing for a return to the Anderson, SC market, a market which they used to be in and were successful in for 15 years.
They expect this location to do really well from all the research they've done. If the research matches up, there will be a potential for a Greenville location. There used to be a Greenville Fazoli's at 93 Halton Rd (now Legends Sports Bar).

There was another upstate Fazoli's in Greenwood as well at the same time back in the 90's.

Yep - and one on woodruff rd that became Capital Bank / Park Sterling Bank and may be a credit union now. Another thought - didn’t the Zaxby’s location on woodruff start out as an Fazolis type restaurant? Quick serve Italian.

Yes. Can't remember the name either but it was originally in Garlington Station in the end space that became Monterrey Mexican and now Wingstop. They moved down to that building that is now Zaxby's and didn't last long after that.

According to a check I did of some old newspapers, the place was called Marcelino's Family Italian Restaurant.
