I had an interesting conversation the other day and was curious as to in addition to your handgun, how many of your carry pepper spray to have on hand when the use of a handgun can't be used.
To the OP :if all you have is a hammer then everything looks like a nail. The more tools in the toolbox with which one has skills the better.
Yes to OC spray, yes to blade(s), yes to illumination tools, yes to walking stick, yet to improvised weapons. My handgun is my tool of last resort.
You see, if it is necessary for me to draw my handgun then someone is going to die. I am going to have to alter my life as a result of the use of lethal force. I will do so without hesitation when absolutely necessary. Luckily, I have not been in such a situation that other tools could not stop the threat. Respectufully, YMMV.
