Every year, we get school pics of the grandkids and I was trying to figure out how to display them when they keep changing. A couple of years ago, I asked my SIL to create a picture board with ribbon so you can slip pics in. That didn't work. Some of the tacks she used came loose and the pictures never stayed in place (not to mention a certain little furball who liked to grab the whole thing and bring it down from the wall but that is another story). I decided to try a magnet board. I bought this one (along with some magnets):
Street side mail box with rear door access. Allows us to check the mail from the backside of the mailbox instead of going out onto the road and check the front door. Many different models to choose from. We went with a plastic model with magnets to hold doors close.
This sounds like a great idea. We now use one of those hive mailboxes for a townhome community but I know some people with mail boxes at the end of a long drive which joins a road with a high speed limit. They talk about how scary it is some times to get the mail. This sounds like a great solution.
IF you could link to it that would be great. In any case, sounds like a great product!

Go to the Lowe’s website. In the search bar type mailbox. After search is complete click filter search results. Scroll down until you see front and rear doors. Click this and review the options. There were over 50 different mailboxes with front and rear doors. There are also security mailboxes that allowed mail to be dropped but only your key will open the rear door to recover the mail.
Fellowes 1800C paper shredder. Bought from Costco via internet. The models we saw at Staples seemed like utter junk. This seems solid, and does the job.
I bought this to nicely corral art supplies. I love the color. Oddly enough the link shows the rose gold color. I bought peacock blue. It went together easily, and it is functional.
Water sensors. I bought a bunch and put them around the house. Helped in detecting the flood from Hurricane Ida. We still got water in the basement but we were able to deal with it ASAP, unlike my neighbor who slept through the entire thing and didn't realize until the morning.
This is one of those things that's not a big deal but so easy and so improved.
Costco had these vent grills in a 2 pack for like $15.99 .
They came in nickel or bronze ( mine is bronze).
They only came in one size though .
I think they are wonderful.
Easy peasy.

Mayvenne, what size is that? I have some floor vents I wouldn't mind switching out ...

I was just going to measure ( because we also have 2 vents that were too big for these) and just googled and lo and behold- our friend amazon among others has a whole selection. It seems price varies by finish but for starters- here's $8-$12 each. And I am sure you can get the sizes you need. I may have to look at this some more for our 2 that haven't been updated yet.
I bought a couple of Sterilite 15 quart plastic storage totes. They're a very good size for miscellaneous items and they've got clasps on both sides to hold the tops shut.
