And speaking of sewer rats, where I live, the outside is common area for all. So some stupid idiot POS keeps bringing his medium to large dog and poops right in front of my gate and sidewalk every single night or morning before I am up. Yesterday, I went out there and cleaned up all of it, it was everywhere. I do not even have a dog, and resent having to clean up after an ignorant slob. When I do find out who it is, the HOA will be getting their photo and address, along with pictures of their dogs green poop. Why is it green? Ewww. What is it really? A small horse? Plus, I will go to a place that can blow up the photos, make several copies of the POS and his/her dog, and post it all over the neighborhood.
This morning, I get up and there is a new fresh batch right by my gate!
Trying to get the camera set up to record who is doing it.

I'd leave the sewer rat a not so nice sign right about where their dog plops and let them know they are being surveilled. Let them try and figure out where the hay-yell the camera is.

I can't stand irresponsible pet owners either.

If the poop is green it could mean that the dog has been drinking antifreeze. In that case the dog won't be around for much longer. Also could be a parasite.

Did anyone see any contrails just before or after the "haze"? BTW-wouldn't it be cool if Art Bell would come back to Pahrump and take his 'Coast to Coast AM' show over again? Wouldn't it?

I saw 2 jets the day of the haze. Was out walking. The jets were flying close to each other quite high and one was spewing stuff out while the other was not. I thought that it was odd that one had contrails and the other did not.

Perhaps someone who fell on his face here, lost his job, lost his car, couldn't afford the entry fees to his favorite recreational spot, and snuck in there one night to make a statement.

I came in from Boulder City this a.m. at 8:00, saw this brown haze hovering over the valley, defiling nature, and this doesn't make it onto most people's radar screens here.

It will always be a never-ending curiosity to me as to what really riles up citizens of this city.

Could be smoke signals from the local reservation. Sounds like the natives are forming a war party to take back their land.

Probably because they were flying at differant elevations...thwe temperature and moisture content at verious elevation is what helps to for the contrails...[hot engine exhauast]

At alitude its nearly impossible to discerne 1000 feet differance.

No they were not flying at different elevations. One looked like it was right on top of the other. Flying in some weird formation. Probably something to do with Nellis air games. They were identical planes. They were over the Sheep range mountains at the time. Going really fast and really high.

People love to build cities in valleys. Valleys have inversions...trapping the low level garbage at the level of the inversion. Los Angeles has hydrocarbon bubbling up as well such that it is naturally polluted. Move everyone out of the LA valley and it would still not meet clean air standards.

The only solution is don't live in the valleys...just chop into the mountains and live there.

Actually there was a huge outcry about dynamiting in Henderson. But they lost. It is impractical to stop given our libertarian views on property.
