Varies on what you drive based upon the original msrp. Started at $89 (I think) and goes up from there. My 2008 scion last year was around 300.

At this point, I don't see any reason to continue to tell Davie how to make it. He's right. He needs to go home. He took a big leap of faith, went against everyone in his hometown who told him not to move (so he didn't listen there either) and gave his dream a shot.

Davie, you are on the right track, but your immaturity pops up and messes with you. Ah, youth. So, neither LV nor the girl made your life as it is and you need to go home and figure that out. You could look at it as the fact that you got away with not getting plates for this long. Should have sucked it up after the first time. People do get irritated seeing other plates, day after day in their parking lots that are obviously not visiting. You have no problem accepting wages in NV, pay your dues. Stinks. Yep. Not only did I do it, but I moved back to MI after plating my new car for 5 mos. Came back here and got MI plates. Ugh. And I will re-plate it with NV when I get back there. It's life and law. That's the easy stuff.

Don't bother getting your plates now, just drive on back to FL! You keep threatening that every time there is a glitch in your dream. Make it happen!

Good Luck!

Not sure since he is on hospice, but was a gastrostomy feeding tube considered based on his swallowing difficulties. Also, never be afraid to speak up and question any concerns you have about his care to his physician.

Looks more like cyclothymic mood disorder. Doesn't seem to go as far as bi-polar.

Cyclothymia (cyclothymic disorder): Tests and diagnosis - MayoClinic.com

"Diagnostic criteria for cyclothymia include:
You've had numerous periods of elevated mood (hypomania) and numerous periods of depressive symptoms for at least two years
Your periods of stable moods usually last less than two months
You don't have manic episodes, major depression or schizoaffective disorder
Your symptoms aren't caused by substance abuse or a medical condition
Your symptoms significantly affect you socially, at work, at school or in other important functions"

Davie there is treatment that will smooth you out and lessen your suffering. You don't have to be a prisioner of these moods.

There are generic drugs that don't cost much.

He will have exactly the same problems in FL compounded by the family interactions. I am not at all sure that will make it any better and I would not be surprised if it makes it worse. Tazz has the best suggestion. He needs a little medical help in evening out.

Good Lord, let's all take a trip back to when we were Davie's age and give him a huge break! My immaturity continued right up into my 30's and, in many ways, I'm still immature in a lot of ways!

Man up? Too early for that!

It does if it is worth $60k or so. Cheaper cars cost less to register and more expensive cars cost more. I have a neighbor who drives an Audi R8, which can go for almost $200k at the upper end. According to the DMV's online estimator, that car costs over $3,300/yr in annual registration fees. But I guess if someone's willing and able to pay $200k for a car, another few thousand to register it probably wouldn't bother him.

He can't just get up and go... He has a warrant... He has a lease... He needs to man up and take care of business.... Take the damn tv back and use the money to get rid of the warrant.... If the Cosmo finds out about the warrant, he loses his job too!

Did you unravel on a regular basis and then swing to near euphoria?

This is showing a definite pattern.
