Yeah they're doing great in Cali, almost hitting world-record New York numbers now!
Great? Of course not. California has plenty of issues with Covid. Are the transmission rates, positive test rates and rise in cases as sharp as Florida, Texas and Arixona? No

Death count hasn't plummeted. Over the last few days it is the highest it has been since around June 10.

Can you even follow the simplest of stats?

Yes, when more people get it more people will die. But more people getting it and NOT dying is driving down the mortality rate. So while you have more total bodies it’s proving to be less deadly than originally thought.

N95 masks aren’t available but, the Koreans make a very nice kn-95. Thank goodness we don’t have to rely on this federal administration. Hopefully next year will be much, much better for Americans.

According to this site, in the last two weeks California's cases went up 29.8% (112,612 new cases vs. about 35% for Florida. Arizona actually went down 4.46%.

In raw numbers, California (329k) has the second highest number of cases in the country after New York (402k). Florida has 282k total cases and Texas has 264k despite both having larger populations than New York.

Maybe it’s those states time to go through the brunt of it like we did here? Then it moves into the next “hot spot”.

The report showed that Orlando Health had a 98 percent positivity rate. However, when FOX 35 News contacted the hospital, they confirmed errors in the report. Orlando Health's positivity rate is only 9.4 percent, not 98 percent as in the report.

The report also showed that the Orlando Veteran’s Medical Center had a positivity rate of 76 percent. A spokesperson for the VA told FOX 35 News on Tuesday that this does not reflect their numbers and that the positivity rate for the center is actually 6 percent.
Holy moly, a 10x differential between actuals and what was reported? Uh, guys, that's not an error, that's a straight up fabrication. I mean, had the actual rate been 9.8%, at least they could have claimed that someone fat-fingered a decimal point. And it wasn't just one outlet that made this "error".

It this is happening in Florida, I suspect it's going on in Texas as well. The left desperately needs to prove that these Red State COVID-heritics are suffering for their impertinence. it is vital to their mental stability to be able to laugh and sneer at the rubes in the South who decided to experiment with human sacrifice by opening up before the gods of the CDC gave them leave to do so. But those damn numbers just won't cooperate!

Or, it's the actions of their OWN governors to re-institute lockdowns that says more than whatever Fox News farts out. Numbers don't need to cooperate when common sense is smacking you in the lungs. 3 lies: "lies, damned lies and statistics." (Twain or Disraeli). The many Covid threads on here should confirm that you don't have to look far to find a stat for every narrative.
