I do it just to tick off other people. Why others get so upset because a lone person in a car is wearing a mask is beyond me.
Me neither. I've accidentally put one on when leaving the house or left one on when leaving the store. I'm always annoying at myself, but then I think about the idiots I've probably annoyed by wearing one.
The weird thing is I see more people wearing them in the car than ever, along with gloved people in the store. It's like we're going back in time here.
Our gov says he will lift the mask mandate when the state is 67% vaccinated. We're probably not gonna get there because of the rural areas.

The glove thing is so ridiculous. Most of these morons are touching their phones, then their face, then they get in the car with them on. Completely negates the entire point of them. I'm sure they clean their phones as soon as they get home. Bonus points if they peel them off and throw them in the parking lot. Now THAT irks me.
Who says it ticks people off? Personally, I feel bad that someone lives that scared. To each their own.
Me too.
I'm not upset or angry about it, but it's really quite sad if they think they're going to get COVID alone in their car. It's not any kind of life to be that paranoid all the time.

Beyond that, the CDC itself admits this is not a surface contact virus. Might as well don snowshoes.
Gotta love the "I'm a PATRIOT! I will do anything to defend my country!" crowd. Ask them to wear a mask in public for the benefit of fellow Americans and they have a full blown meltdown.
I saw lots of pushback back to outdoor masking and now the ‘experts’ have learned it is essentially meaningless. Did not benefit fellow Americans. The fact outdoor masking is relatively painless should not be a reason for the enforced practice. Somehow certain folks (for political or irrational reasons) really veered from the science.
And they are having trouble self-correcting. (We still see the gloved shoppers, package scrubbers, and outdoor maskers...although the saner ones have come back to the science.)

Yep. Gloves and constant disinfecting surfaces is a total waste of time
