Please tell me your next argument is not going to be that NBC is unreliable because it is part of the "communist socialist" news media.
Yes, it is true, NBC is propaganda like all the major news networks that push the Democrat Marxist agenda. I’m just reading the study they are reporting on which has nothing to do with NBC.

65% and 36% isn’t how I would describe as rare. So we are going to mandate a certain group of people to be mandated to receive a covid shot no matter their status (which arguments can be made for violation of the 14th Amendment) even though there is a good possibility they can still get infected and spread covid?

Now there is this study from Yale in regards to the effectiveness of natural immunity.

You’re the one complaining that you do not see police officers doing anything other than getting coffee and pizza. So what does that have to do with what you did prior to retirement? What did you do? Why is it odd for a cop to be 46 years old and retired? I completed 20 years of service with the NYPD throughout the Bronx on Patrol in mostly crappy neighborhoods. I was hired March 1, 2000 and retired February 29, 2020. 20 and out.

Here's the difference: Mutt isn't spreading misinformation about COVID-19 vaccinations. Can't you find another thread on which to "have fun"?

Los Angeles police officers, firefighters and other city workers who have yet to get vaccinated against COVID-19 will have more time to get the shots under a plan approved Tuesday by the City Council.

City workers who still haven’t followed the requirements at the end of Dec. 18 will face “corrective action,” according to the plan. Until then, unvaccinated workers will have to get tested twice a week for the coronavirus, on their own time and at a cost of $65 per test deducted from their paychecks, according to the approved plan.

Workers seeking medical or religious exemptions will also have to get tested twice a week, but the city will reimburse them for testing costs if they are ultimately granted exemptions.

That sounds more of a matter of opinion than a matter of fact. What misinformation have I spread in regards to the vaccination? I support the vaccination, I do not support the mandate, especially of the LAPD because such vaccine mandates are not backed by science, data, and facts. There hasn’t been one articulable explanation why the LAPD are required to be vaccinated.

There is no evidence that the LAPD being mandated to get the covid shot will slow down or stop the spread of covid, none. That is why these mandates isn’t about the science, but something else.

At least that will be tax deductible.

Yeah, that's called paranoia on your part. It's part of the mandate toward municipal workers, such a big group that if the vaccine doesn't reduce spread much, it's still a noticeable improvement.

How is that a noticeable improvement if the vaccine doesn’t reduce spread much? And based on what evidence is there a noticeable improvement of the LAPD and other municipal workers having a vaccine mandate? You just like mandates, that’s it.

We are beyond paranoia. Know nothing Government politicians and unelected bureaucrats mandating the public to be forced an injection against their will when there is no scientific data or evidence to back up such a mandate. You just think people are so easily going to go along with that? When does it stop? There is thousands of years of the human experience being subjugated to authoritarianism and totalitarianism. Because we are still America spelled with a “C” and not a “K,” this is somehow different?

Obviously, the more people vaccinated, the fewer hospitalizations and deaths among them and individuals who live with them and possibly beyond those households. This year the looming mandate will prevent hundreds of serious cases at least. It helps that the strongest protection is soon after the second dose.

You have lost almost every argument you've made here. Time for a second retirement.

Lost every argument? Says who? What argument by the way? I’m not making any claims I need to defend. I’m asking you and other posters who want covid shot mandates to provide evidence that mandating the LAPD to be vaccinated will reduce covid spread and for evidence that unvaccinated LAPD officers are spreaders of covid to the public? As I have said, these mandates are not guided by science, but rather by politics and a red line has been drawn in the sand that neither side will allow the other to cross. That is the truth.

No one is arguing the efficacy of the covid shot. We already knows it significantly helps prevent hospitalizations and death.
