Hello, bring in your disability award amount letters for this year, that should be sufficient. If you need to prove the gift income so you qualify under their income bracket, then I would assume showing them your bank statements or perhaps a notified letter from your friend.

Hello,
I recently got contacted via email by HPS due to disability. Wondering what type of paper work they requested from you for the disability and how long took the whole process of verification: what they verified etc.
Thanks.

To show proof of SSI, you have to give them your SSI Award Letter.

For regular gift income, you need a NOTARIZED letter from your friend detailing how often they give you the money and how much.

Thanks.
They wanted a document detailing the disability. They also sent a verification form to any professional who can verify the disability (Doctor, Nurse, Social Worker, etc.)

Because they were so backed up and busy, it took them a whole month before they actually verified the disability.

Today was our interview. All applicants above 18 had to be present. It took over 3 hours to complete all the paperwork and sign all the docs. It was exhausting. Our
On a different note, they are hiring more staff because "They want to fill the buildings as soon as possible" stated our housing coordinator. So I am hoping the thoroughness and attention to detail, pays off with a shorter waiting period for verification. Wishful thinking I guess!

I had to fly two of my relatives who will be living with me, in for the interview.

I received an email yesterday to send documentation. We are interested in the 3 bed. Has anyone seen this size unit yet? Thoughts, opinions? Also, does anyone know if they will deem appliccants that are property owners ineligible? In my experience with affordable housing lotteries, it depends on the lottery. Some don't and some allow, providing the applicant sells or rents the property. Thanks for any replies.

Sure, log # in the 50,000s. Community member and city employee. If anyone has seen this units and also Q41, how do they compare? I turned down Q41 cause it was too small for my family but otherwise beautiful.
