Of course it matters and it further shows how perverse the program is.

Me and my friends always joke that what we should have done after HS is work at McDs, apply to a lottery, and then go to college and be set for the next 10-15 years.

The program is completely perverse.

An intern's income would be too low, and a "financial bro's from Scarsdale" would be too high. So, they likely don't qualify. It's very hard to Goldilocks the income (when the income is "just right") because it's calculated in such a weird, and in the end inaccurate, way.

You know I actually got called for this and was probably the first person interviewed. The management team is very thorough and organized. If there's a delay going it's probably something out of their control. I would just be patient.

Just my 2 cents, hope that helps.

I interviewed back in September. I had a CB preference and an insanely low log number of 3xx.

I'm communicating via email and waiting for the response back for signing in the lease as well. Strong feeling this will all done in the next 2 months or even earlier. Would be cool to find out potential neighbors too lol. Forest Ratner seems to know their stuff and working hard as well. I was told accommodations are put in right before move in date so that's good to know.

I asked again and they told me that no mail has been sent out to me. Which means that I just have to keep waiting.

Again, I think only preffed people are being taken in right now. You guys are so blessed, I hope everything goes smoothly! Maybe us non preffed people will hear some good news soon too. Thanks for continuing to share your experiences with us.

Yeah I'm CB pref and haven't heard a thing. It's not just that. (I edited this bc this website censored my foul mouth.)
