Someone who recently went for an interview said that they were actually moving people in as of the 2nd on the HPD Facebook page under the Alvista project. How true that is I don’t know.

Moving people in and especially filling all 379 apartments is a very time-consuming process. Folks need to end their existing rent contract before being actually able to move in. Some will be coming in from a very distant location. Also, only a few can move in on a single day because of the limited number of elevators.
Even if it's true that the move-in process started now, it will take some months to finish it.
