i was lined up for a studio in 2044(block facing the 6 train) but i was willing to wait for a 1Br, so i ended up waiting longer than expected since covid delayed construction in 2035(block facing churches and single family homes, the studio are small and probably comfortable for only a single person. the 1BR is big enough to be comfortable for a couple. here's a short walk through of my 1 br

Okay and yes i know covid played a big part in this wait cuz I first got called in November 2019 but 2035 wasn’t completed so I was told they’ll contact me upon completion and than again in July & now in September! I’m just waiting for some kinda update at this point!!! Wow I love it!! It’s will be my first apt I can work with anything at this point! Congratulations more blessings to you
I just received my first contact for Mews last week. They just sent an email requesting documents last week (they only give one week to gather and send back, I just made the time frame getting information back from my job and landlord) but I wasn't given any information about which apartment size or rent demographic I'd be qualified for. Has anyone else gotten first contact recently as well?

what you qualify for is what income and household size you're currently applying with. you can check the original listing here there might be a a bit of flexibility if you take this year's AMI into account.
Thanks I just figured when they reach out they'd tell you the AMI you're qualified for as I pretty solidly in-between two of them. Fingers crossed everything goes well for all of us
according to the lease no, but I've seen a couple of dogs. sadly smelled smoking once in a while too. recently found out there was a burglary a few weeks ago in the building.

Hi all I finally made it into the 2035 Newbold Ave I see what you mean by the makeup of the apartment is similar to a motel type but I love these huge windows. I WFH so I have a designated place to look out and for my plants near the windowsill.
I've been here for this past month and I never received a bill nor any mail (but that's a whole other issue) so I sent a couple of emails and no response. How is everyone paying their bill? I want to open register online but they provided any of the info needed.
for mail you gotta pick it up at the post office by the macys. you don't have to wait on the regular line. pick up is at the far left window. for online payment you gotta wait for the 2nd bill. it'll have the registration info you need. my first month I paid in person at their Bronx office. apparently wavecrest hasnt done the paperwork to get usps set up in the building according to usps management.
