I was told 10/1. It depends on the floor as it's staggered. HellupinHarlem: where did you hear that move-in is fall/winter??

i saw the building myself. not only that, fall is next week. the lobby is in shambles and there is no way they can get folk in right now

Commercial first-floor space is in shambles, but they really only have to finish the residential lobby, elevators, and floors to have people moving in. When people were moving into the Essex the back part of the lobby and one of the elevators was actually blocked off to allow ongoing work.

Yes the commercial space is separate and that definitely won't be done for months. But I was told the apartments are having the finishing touches done. It's really just the lobby that needs some work.

Yes, didn't really see any common areas although I can see the beautiful rooftop from a friend's nearby apartment, which has ping pong tables! I'll need to get used to living in a smaller space, but the studio was luckily a bit bigger than I expected. There was only one closet, but there was a w/d as a huge perk!

Looks like move in for some people is still on schedule for October 1 - i think it really depends on the floor and apt.
