All lottery apartments will be rent stabilized. There are 3 different finishes if you’re looking at market rate apartments but you will get the lottery finish. I won an apartment back in November in PCV and the apartment is a mix of original and renovated. There’s no open kitchen layout like you see in the high end finishes but all the appliances such as the stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher were brand new. Bathroom is completely updated with new tiles around the tub, walls and on the floor. I’m in a 1br so I got 2 brand new air conditioners. The doors and door knobs are original with the skeleton key lock (I wish they gave the key.) The floors and the molding around it are original but the floors were very clean and it seems like they used a cheap paint to paint the apartment. With all that said, I couldn’t be happier with the apartment. There’s no community like this in Manhattan, it’s like living in a park. Unfortunately you get one offer, take it or leave it…

So far the few offers reported in PCV have all been for 1 bedrooms that I've seen. I'm hoping for a 2 bd offer in PCV but seems very, very, very unlikely to work out. I'll be happy with a 2 bd in Stuytown but of course the additional bathroom is a huge bonus in PCV.

Wow, a PCV lottery apartment! Congrats! I went to see a PCV 1bed and it was huge and beautiful!

@ Chloé. At the beginning of the process, I was dreaming of moving to PCV, now… I just can’t wait for the day that they will re-process my paperwork for a 2 bed at Stuytown.
As an FYI, I called today. I didn’t ask to talk with my specialist, but I asked the front desk if my application had moved on and if I was on the next batch. He couldn’t give me the info, however he told me that as of mid- april, they will be processing a big load of 2 bedrooms for the 2021 lottery. I am crossing my fingers.

I think you, ChloeNYC, and I are around the same batch (my log # 36xx). I just want a 2 bed I can afford. I would love a 2 bed / 2 bath at PCV, but I feel the same way. I just want to get something.....

Log # 6XXX. I just submitted all of my documents and only eligible for a 1BR. Does anyone know where they are at on processing 1BR units? Good luck everyone!

Oh wow, that's fantastic news! I would be thrilled if it happened in July and I could move in August.

Yup, I'm #33** and submitted documents in March. I think a bunch of us were in that group.
