For those who are new here, I realized I'm able to share the virtual tour I received of my apartment (I moved in a couple of months ago). It's not my exact location, but the pictures are identical to my apartment. My apartment is smaller than other one bedrooms (745 square feet), but I was pleasantly surprised to find out I had a walk in closet in my bedroom. I feel like it looks better in person. I have a nice view of the inside of the complex, where I've watched squirrels building nests and see the tops of trees and a garden below me. Things I didn't even think about when I was contemplating the move.

Hopefully this works!

I would love that- the views (and nature) are very important (to me). Also the kitchen looks great!

Congratulations! Thank you for sharing. It looks like they chopped up the units though. I used to live there years ago, and the 1 br was significantly larger. I feel they chopped the studios to 1 br, and probably turned the 1 br to 2 br, and so forth. A bit disappointing that they did that.

Great location, and still significantly larger than most NYC 1 bedvapartments. Enjoy!

That is an original one-bedroom, exactly as it was built in 1947. Stuy Town had no studios when built.

Thanks! You were so helpful to me when I was making my decision, I hope to do the same for someone else.

Nice view. When I was living in ST it was direct across to the next building. Very, uh, inspiring. Glad it all worked out for you.

@Dartsan. It seems that you will get an apt soon. I was so happy when I heard someone in the 2XXX receiving an offer and was thinking that I would be contacted soon but it seems that they are mainly offering apt to people in the 1300-1400 at the moment.
On Thursday I called to check my status. The person on the line mentioned that I should be offered something within 2 months.
On Friday I called again after receiving an email from my occupant specialist. I was able to talk to her. She told me that they are working hard at securing us unit and confirm that I should get something within 1or 2 months. When I told her that I wasn't expecting anything until October and that it would be amazing if it really happened this summer. She just told me that she is sure within 1 or 2 months. She just told me to be ready once she recontacts me and to act fast.
Could it be that they finally have more staff working on fixing the unit? Or many people are moving out over the summer? Whatever it is after speaking with her it made me feel hopeful that I will get something. My current lease expires august 31 and I am in a rent stabilized, so I will re-new just in case.

would you mind sharing your log number? Also, sounds like you have a very nice specialist, mine hasn't commented on any possible timeline. I called last week and she just told me to call back in July for log 3XXX.
