argh thats super confusing, my specialist told me to wait for leasing agent yesterday but didn't mention anything about not being able to get 2 bedrooms. If i don't hear anything by next week, i'll probably call and ask...

What's your approximate log #? I think they're up to around 1400-2000 for offers right now depending on what size apartment you are on the waitlist for.

log 34** - Something really odd happened to me. Yesterday around 130pm I got an email saying I was disqualified because I didn't send my documents on time. I had a mild heart attack and decided to call. Surprisingly someone picked up the phone and transferred me to Ms. Pryce.
I explained to her I had proof I sent all my documents on time (back in March) and she said I was disqualified because I didn't choose a unit. My last email said - I rather have a 2 bedroom depending on the price (my max is 1850) but If a 1 bedroom is available within my budget I would take it as well.
Ms. Pryce said - " You have to decide and I recommend you to apply for a 2 bedroom. If the price is not right you can go back to the 1 bedroom waiting list ".
I asked about a timeline and price and she said - " I dont' know. It could be 2,3 or 4 months. Your income would put you right in the middle ($1800) but I don't know. You have son and you don't want to sleep in the living room for rest of your life. Also I need you to send me current paystubs, bank statements, 2021 income tax, and student affidavit. I will send you an email requesting this."
10 min later I got the email and I sent the all the documents again.

I am hoping this is good sign and I encourage people to try to call. Ms. Pryce was super nice and very helpful despite this confusing process.

Ms Pryce is the best. She is my specialist. She is really thorough. 3 weeks after I applied, she called me to informed me that I didn’t sign my child’s affidavit… (she noticed right away in all my paperwork what was missing). I was able to talk to her again last week. She is the nicest person ever. I feel that we are in good hands with her… the only thing it could be sometimes really hard to get ahold of her, but once you do, she is amazing.

No I didn’t. I spoke to Ms. Pryce this morning and she practically guaranteed I would hear from someone named Ms. Susan today with an offer and then nothing. You were originally going for a one bedroom and then changed to a two bedroom right? The exact opposite happened to me. I don’t get it.

Hi @ Parchmentnyc. I really hope for you that you get an offer next week as you have been told. Didn't you say that your long #is in the 6###?
I am in the higher end of log 2### and I was told to expect a 2 bedroom within a 1-2 month.... But realistically I don't expect anything until October.
Keep us posted and I am hoping that you do indeed get an offer next week.

Hi everyone,

It sounds like people are applying for one size unit and then at some point in the process switching to a larger unit? I recently submitted docs (I have log# 5xxx) and was told that changing unit size at this point was absolutely not allowed. Can someone elaborate on their experience with changing unit sizes? Happy to discuss via private message or here. Thanks!
