In terms of assets, I don’t think venmo needs to be included. It’s mainly savings, investments, etc. If you have a crypto account with 2$ I doubt you need to include it. I wouldn’t include accounts that have little to no money in it.
As for the tax documents, you need to include w-2 and the tax return for the year. I just downloaded my tax return from the software I used (it was like 9 pages). For the w-2, it has to be the one from the employer (not the w-2 summary from tax returns).
Hopefully it all makes sense!
Thanks so much for this! It definitely helps. Am I write to assume I should take out all the pages that don't matter? Like the random instructions every few pages in the return, or like the "instructions to the employee" things on some w2's?
Also, and this may be kind of tedious, but did you put everything into one PDF file or send multiple files and label them for what they were like "Paystubs" or "Bank Statements"? I feel like throwing all this together in one file is going to make it massive and I'm afraid even if I compress it, that gmail is going to tell me it is too big to send as one file.

They were pretty specific they want everything - even blank pages in the tax forms and bank statements. I labeled everything as separate pdf files (pay stubs for each of us, bank statements, w2's etc) and attached them to emails. I ended up having to send 3 emails because of size limitations, so I put our log number in the subject line along with 1 of 3 and so on. People who have sent one big file zipped have been instructed to unzip and resubmit separate files.

I personally wouldn’t even bother to remove anything, they’ll just take what they need.
I had all the files separately and then put them in a zip file so it wouldn’t clutter the email. I had a zip file for me, my partner, and then our application
I've tried calling the office but don't get an answer. I also emailed my specialist, it seems odd that those who submitted documents months later already have offers while others continue to linger on the waitlist.
I'm hoping to get some sort of response with some sort of approximate timeframe.
yes that does seem odd, and anxiety provoking! So you have seen others waiting for 2 bedroom get offered an apartment while you remain waiting?
Does anyone know how likely it is you hear neighbors? My current apartment has thin walls and I could hear a toilet flush and our neighbors kids playing all day. I dont complain because they are kids and they're gonna play but would be nice to have some solid walls between the neighbors

This seems very frustrating.. I got through to Ms. Pryce last Friday after trying all week. Just keep trying. They should be getting to your application soon enough *fingers crossed*

This is great to know! Did you or your partner also include your income to date for this year? That is the part I'm a bit confused about because in theory, wouldn't they need to know what I'm going to continue to make in order to approve me?

Yes they also asked me to submit a couple documentation regarding my income like last X number of paychecks and how much I made from company year to date (I think). In the application, it seems like something your employer fills out but my employer sent me to a external software that I used to pull all the information I needed and then I just submitted it with my other documents.
They don’t check income after the application is processed from what I read online
You renew your lease as usual you don’t have to apply again your renewal should be based on rent stabilization guidelines. Unless of course there is a better lottery price in the future and you would qualify, in that case I would apply also.
Would they check your income again when you renew your lease?
