I posted a floor plan of a studio before the log numbers came out, and on the furnished studio floorplan they had a queen size bed in an area that's smaller than 60" x 80". I asked if it's purposely misleading/lie or the "architect" didn't understand dimensions. Nobody answered.
This is the reason why I didn't apply to this building.

Edit: I found it

Hi guys! question for those who have moved in or viewed recently.

Im 7xxx and recently was able to view 2 units only where where the xx24 and xx26 units which were around 500-520 sq ft. did any of you guys select this apartment as well? it looks really small in my opinion and can you still hear noise from the train?

they were also apartment with no w/d which was the best setup. is the communal laundry room ever full?

and lastly does anyone know what floor can hear the train? i was also offered one on 12th floor south building and was unsure if the noise would be terrible as there was no train passing by.

Is there a difference between north and south tower?

I also have a car and was wondering if anyone knows about the parking situation there. i saw there’s a garage but not sure if it’s full at this time and what the fee is!

stacy -

if you’re still on this forum, is 2 blue slip better and is the transportation a big con and far away?

Thank you in advance!

Hi guys!

I LOVE 2 BLUE SLIP! The only complaint i have is with the garage - those men (night shift) do not know now to park. Street parking is nearly impossible to find.

Transporation and most cellular services isn't great in the area (i have AT&T) - I'm sure it will get better in the coming years.

I work in midtown Manhattan. I walk over the Pulaski bridge every morning and catch the 7 train (12 mins walk). I literally get to work in about 20 mins or less.

I was offered both 1- and 2-year leases. I went with the 2-year.

the 7 train is only a 12 min walk?! or you must walk really fast lol as google maps says it’s around a 20 min walk to the 7 and 12 min walk to the G. Did you get a larger unit? I saw a one bedroom and it was only 600 sq ft which is tiny in my opinion.

Yep - the walk over the Pulaski to get to the 7 Train is only 12 mins. I do walk fast though lol.

I won a 2 bed 2 bath apartment - no view (didn't care for it) - 1260 sq ft.

Hi! Congrats on this! So, I am hopeful about the Bell Slip coming up but there are zero floorplans online anywhere. Any chance you have a floorplan of the place you won so I can kind of get an idea of what these developers might be doing with Bell Slip, as well?

Hey! There is a bridge that’s coming soon that’s going to connect LIC to green point (one bell and 2 bell) legit from one bell when it opens it will be a 10 minute walk to the 7 train!
