I don't know about 60% AMI, I'm 40% AMI but from what I was told for the application manager they still have a lot of one bedrooms and studio left, I don't know about 2 bedrooms, I did not ask, but I do assume they are for both 40% and 60% AMI, which has something like 85 units each for studios/one bedrooms in these AMI, check the listing to see how many unit are available in your AMI so you know if you have a lot of chances. It matters

many people do not get approved for various reasons, which is why this process takes a good deal of time, there are only 6 housing specialists for this building, I asked , some decline the units too, it happens. Like the housing manager said if you aren't meant to get this building or unit you will get something else, God works in mysterious ways, you gotta believe and keep applying and fighting. I will post information on here to help you, as I was helped and know a lot due to others giving me information. Pay it forward!
they contact a group in batches, like 2,000 numbers and then they work on them, put them aside and grab the ones they need for whatever AMI's they are working on in those batches,(it's like M & M's)I think they are just finished with CB 6000-8000 and are now in the 9000-11000 for community board, it goes much faster now because the building is almost fully built, so things will be much quicker moving forward FYI, I ask questions to know for myself and share this information. Good Karma
if you haven't heard and your number is lower maybe they aren't in your AMI or will get to you once they can, I know how frustrating this process can be, I'm in the middle of it now, just gotta be patient and do what they ask you to do. Read up on housing connect about how they vet income, as they can make mistakes, know your rights about how your income is calculated it will benefit you in the future.

At least 1 person in the 12000 range got approved so they are much further along than that. I just really want them to get to gen pop already. I’m hoping to move in before Christmas.
So I contacted fifth Ave committee to see if I could receive any information regarding when they are going to start batching for the general pool
The first associate I spoke with, a Male told me that they are currently still batching for CB and have not pulled log numbers or contacted anyone for the general pool as of yet,
Next(yesterday) I spoke with a woman who flat out told me “your log number wasn’t selected for further processing so you won’t have a chance to move forward with moving in” I was a bit confused as to how if they are still pulling & contacting numbers from CB & are in the 11 & 12 thousands at that so she told me HPD randomly selected log numbers & sent them to fifth ave committee & they are contacting those people starting with CB & other preferences and my number wasn’t 1 of those numbers
So I called HPD today to get clarification & was told 601 w 29th are still dealing with CB and haven’t selected or pulled numbers for the general pool as of yet & HPD selects numbers to send to the development in log number ORDER, not randomized, so my number could still be pulled
I relayed the message to the same FAC employee who told me I wouldn’t be moving forward Now she told me she would have her manager contact me for the confusion
Seems confusing that 2 FAC employees have 2 different stories so hopefully this could get situated
I pray I get this apartment

Reason: Added something
Thank you! Good to know that they haven’t started yet but I’m so curious when they’ll start pulling from the general pool or at least an estimated date. There’s also the fact that we don’t really know how many apartments are left within each AMI. Looking forward to having some clarity soon- fingers crossed!
