Similar to Sabavoon, they asked for an explanation of Venmo deposits which is really straightforward. They asked for that they say after I had submitted my original documents- I then heard from them 10 days after that. No extra documentation needed. I think the high asset limit is a factor here. I’m nowhere near the limit even with Venmo payments!

Do you know from approval, how long you had time for to provide them with security deposit and first month rent for signing the lease?

I think I got the link to pay first month rent the same day. I remember getting a letter approving me with date for move-in and calling to find out how flexible this was. Once I was happy I paid the first month the same day. The link to pay and the lease come separately- I think the lease came a couple of days after.

There is an option to go deposit free (for a small monthly fee) or pay a deposit of $1000 regardless of rent price.

Is the deposit one month worth of rent or $1000?

I sent an email yesterday to ask if the team requires any additional documents from my end. As of now, I haven't received a response, and I'm really hoping they have all the necessary information. The silence is a bit concerning.

Has anyone had more success when trying to get in touch with the lottery team? Is phone maybe better than email?

From my understanding (and trying) the voicemail goes straight to voicemail. The best bet is the email. Maybe create new email and don't include your log number or reference to previous inquiry in the subject line. And the system might treat it as new inquiry and gives it new reference number.
