Just a tip- it’s worth reaching out to see if you can view the apartment before you move in. Sometimes they allow this. I also got a map of Stuytown showing the direction all the apartments faced which is handy
Blus19, do you happen to have the map and could you share it? It would be awesome to get my hunch verified.
I wanted to add more details on the reduced security amount.
The reduced deposit can be as low as $1,000 and is offered to eligible renters.
On their website Stuytown is advertising that you can 'act now for reduced security deposits as low as $1,000 for qualified applicants. Contact us for details.' https://www.stuytown.com/special-offers-terms
I asked the team if I qualify for a reduced security amount and they said I'm not eligible. It's usually added by default in Obligo to eligible renters, but you should ask about it if you don't have a reduced security amount already applied.
The map I have is like this one but has the apartments named on it so you can see what your view would be.I will upload it but need to find the time- moving in this week!

Best of luck! Be aware that the UN is in session until next Tuesday and so the East Midtown area is gridlocked. I was caught in it on Sunday and it was a mess. Hopefully you can avoid that area!
I would love the map with the apartments named, and I’ll be patient!
