Strange that a "christian" would sink into the gutter of moral relativism. Well, actually I guess it isn't.
Blessings to you and yours as well

Don't need, or want, your "blessings". You should open your eyes and your mind.

So not only doesn't your argument hold any water (unless we are discussing toddlers), the last part of your statement here really is telling. The "virtue signaling" is rampant everywhere on both sides. Yet, you believe "the other side" can't virtue signal? By your own argument the virtue signaling should be OK because "All sides do it".

So thanks for adding absolutely nothing to the discussion.
Raising kids is not a parrallel to politics, especially stealing. In this case nobody broke any laws or rules. People are up in arms because procedural rules were followed and the outcome is not what they desired. There is no way yo correlate that to child rearing.

And no sir, thank YOU for adding absolutely nothing to the discussion, especially with your last sentence.

No, people are up in arms because the republicans deliberately and premeditatedly lied. They didn't come up with some clever procedural process, they simply lied. Period.

Any of this sound familiar?:

Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight.
You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; you shall not lie to one another.
Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.
Whoever hates disguises himself with his lips and harbors deceit in his heart.

So you're okay with the dumb politics and billionaires making themselves richer in the meantime?

Yes, within reason.

Given a choice between very rich, greedy people or a dangerously powerful government, I choose the greedy.

As C.S Lewis puts it "of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive...for they do so with the approval of their conscience. The robber barons cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satisfied...To be 'cured' against ones will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on the level of...infants, imbeciles and animals".

What the R pols did was reprehensible(1).
Anyone who would approve of or give them cover for is contemptible(2).

1 adj; deserving censure or condemnation.
2 adj: despicable, pitiable, sorry, scurvy

How come 1/3 of the D's got the memo to be present?

Im not sure what the significance of the text message to the reporter was. But it's kinda moot. He could've been referring to some other vote, or maybe the vote that was taken to veto the budget bill was at 900, etc. In that text he specifically said 830. The whole context of that message wasn't presented and even so it was a message to a reporter...
