If they stay in Arizona, they should move near the Phoenix Rising FC stadium on tribal land. I know many seem to like a location up by Talking Stick Resort, but I think such location is overrated since it isn't centrally located enough to accommodate the Southeast Valley fanbase (specifically Chandler and Gilbert) with is almost as large as the Northeast Valley fanbase.

West gate is, to this day, a monument to a bad idea and a colossal failure that we’re all reminded about constantly

But, but, but, we’re not in BFE, we have Westgate nearby!

Why don't the Coyotes just up and get the heck out? They are perennial losers both on and off the ice. How many times do we have to resurrect this nonsense with them? No matter where they play people are not going to waste money to watch them lose. Go. Now.

No more arenas on tribal land, or out in the fringes. Sports facilities belong in a central location where mass transit is more plentiful, and driving isn't the only option. Why do you think one of the major reasons the Coyotes have low attendance and are struggling? It's the location! Westgate should have never been built where it is for many reasons, and lately it has been a burden on taxpayers. Moving to tribal land will likely be no better. There needs to be sufficient infrastructure already in place. Even so, I'm tired of major amenities on tribal land for different reasons.

A location by the Phoenix Rising FC stadium isn't out in the fringes; this is why I prefer it over a location up by Talking Stick Resort, because it is more centrally located.

Because Betman wants the Phoenix TV market. A few years ago he threatened to move the Coyotes if the team wasn't supported and the overwhelming response was, "go ahead." The Coyotes were worth going to see downtown, just to have something to do or to see their opposing team but most people aren't going to drive to Glendale to see hockey, it's just too far out.

You don't need to look past the claim of $300 million in revenue to know this piece is rather short on facts

Why can't it be in downtown Phoenix, or in the heart of Scottsdale, or Tempe? Main reason I'm against building it on the SRR is the fact that it's tribal land, and it is essentially the fringes. Also, the infrastructure is seriously lacking there compared to somewhere like downtown. The only way to commute would be driving. There is limited bus service, no light rail, very few eateries, and really nothing else to do around there. We don't need to be pushing everything out to unincorporated territory and be under tribal control. That makes no sense!

Scottsdale already rejected the team. That's why the arena was built in Glendale. Where would they build downtown Phoenix?

The NHL will fold and go back to the negotiating table with Glendale, build on reservation land or move to Houston.
