Every year that the Coyotes pay rent is a win for Glendale and it's Citizens. There is zero chance Glendale ever ends the lease and leaves the building completely empty. The Coyotes ending up in Houston is definitely a possibility but I think Bettman has shown he is willing to exhaust every avenue in finding a perminant home in AZ for the Coyotes. You are definitely correct that being the NHL's doormat every single year is making it extremely difficult to build a fan base. I'm a big time hockey fan and have not attended a game this season, they just aren't worth spending my entertainment dollars on.

StubHub is a great resource. One can currently spend $9 to see Ovechkin on Friday night.

They did share until 2004, then they switched to what is now called Gila River Arena (it was Jobbing.com Arena at that time)

I would have agreed until last season when I arrived with my StubHub tickets only to be told they were already used. Almost an hour later StubHub offered to replace my tickets but seeing the first period was long over I didn't agree that this was a solution, that I pay my full price for just over half a game.
I will never use their service again.

That is very rare for them. I have used Stub Hub extensively for NHL, NBA, and MLB tickets in several cities and never had any problems.

Sorry to hear about that. I've never had that experience. Most of the Coyotes games I've attended were StubHub tickets. I can attest they have terrible customer service, though, based upon the one time I did have to contact them about an issue.

Yeah my issue isn't that it happened, bad things happen once in awhile.
My issue was how they handled it. If I was the Rep I would have comped the customer tickets to the remaining half game and refunded their original purchase 100%. I use ticket exchange which is still cheap seats just have not had any desire to spend 5 cents on this year's edition of the sadsack Coyotes.
I was a season ticket holder just two years ago.
