my god, how many times will this lie be posted on this forum:

1) he's a christian. his father left him when he was 3 years of age. hardly an age to start being influenced by his "father" who wasn't even a practicing MUSLIM (he was considered an Atheist). seeing as Obama was mostly raised by Stanley and her parents, who were devout Christians, Obama as far from being a Muslim as is the Priest in a church.

2) He attended a Catholic elementary school in Indonesia (St. Francis of Assisi School )

and then a State Public school where there were many children of many faiths who attended and he only attended for 1 year (he left the year after to return to Hawaii):

State Elementary School Menteng 01 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The school was founded in 1934 as Carpentier Alting Stichting Nassau School (CAS)by the Dutch colonial administration and was reserved for the children of the Dutch and Indonesian nobility. The Indonesian government took over administration of the school in 1962, and it was then run by the Raden Saleh Foundation.

Since you apparently believe God responsible for conditions meriting Thanks, why are you not also holding God responsible for those that merit blame?

John Stewart's response is the best:

I do disagree with your last sentence. I may be a liberal, but I'm also a Christian. Why do so many liberals always have to take pot shots at those with any faith in a higher power?
""""Why do so many liberals always have to take pot shots at those with any faith in a higher power?""""

WHY?

Did ya read the OP??????

Did ya MISS the nastiness of christians towards non-believers???

Did ya read where one believer thinks "god" exists because atheists exist? That's imbecilic! And NEEDS to be ridiculed!!!

Did ya miss the nastiness towards Obama because they perceive he left their "god" out of a speech?

Do you really want a theocracy?

Guess 'god" people have tunnel vision...

I've asked and asked that question(although not stated as well as yours) and have never received an answer.....

and "god works in mysterious ways" is NOT an answer...

No Christian should judge. Period.

Only God will judge and FOX is not God. FOX needs to quit judging people's faith and dividing everyone into "good Christians" and "bad Christians" camp, until they learn what it means to be a Christian.

Every time FOX does this I see them as lost people venting out in spiritual darkness.

But your judging all Christians by the actions of the holier than thou loudmouths you see on this forum and in the media. They're not all like that, and most respect your decision to believe whatever you want, and just want others to do the same. That's just as bad as judging an entire race based on the actions of a few idiots. Wrong is wrong.
