There is no such thing as sin, except in the weak minds of overly religious people who get their sense of morality from a book written by a bunch of men masquerading as god. You or your ignorant compatriots believing something is a "sin," without more, is certainly not a reason to make something illegal in a secular society. What next? Mandating kosher kitchens in every home? Women having to wear wigs out in public like the Hassidic? Men being thrown in jail for touching their wives in public?

This secular society -- by the way -- which is the only reason why you even GET to believe and practice your MINORITY RELIGION AT ALL. Can't complaint, right? The majority gets to dictate laws based on religion, and any Jew who can't cope should head on over to Israel, leaving the United States to live and worship under CHRISTIAN authority. First order or business: Outlaw circumcision and working on the Sunday Sabbath.

Why is "live and let live" such a hard concept for religious people to understand? I know there's often an inverse correlation between education and religiosity, but seriously, what's the deal?

Why don't the Amish serve as better examples for other religious folk? Do other religions have such WEAK WILLED adherents that they need the law of the government to enforce the law of god?

non Jews don't have to keep kosher (and absolutely no reason to) but they can't marry a member of the same sex

And non-gays don't have to marry the same sex. See how that works?!

Waah waah waah. One man's "religious practice" is another's barbaric genital mutilation.

Personally, I don't care. But since you believe the majority should be able to dictate the personal decisions of others, then you should accept the will of the majority to outlaw your religious practice.

I'm a conservative who supports gay marriage and equal rights for everyone, I've got a gay sibling and gay family members. At no point did their sexual orientation cause me to ever even consider voting for Obama in 2012 because I'm a lot more concerned about their ability to get a job and support themselves than their ability to get married in the eyes of some states.

Your entire theory is wrong but you already knew that given the last 25 threads you started like this.
