Yes. Humans have typically been fighting each other for thousands of years. Its why Japan is nice and orderly until they thought the Koreans were doing something bad. That resulted in themassacre of 1923 where 6000 Chinese and Koreans were killed. Multiculturalism kills. we have a major urban gang problem in the United States compared to other industrialized countries. I'll get flamed for saying this but take a look at the statistics in which Asian or white people shoot each other in the United states and Now the Numbers don't really look so crazy compared to the rest of the industrialized world considering we're a heavily armed nation. Blacks in the united states make up less than 13% of the population but commit over 50% of all shootings and over 90% of those shootings are Black on Black crime. It blows my mind how every time we have some nut job shoot a bunch of people, the media goes nuts with talk of gun control yet there are senseless shootings every day in the black community and we never hear about it. If we're are going to stop shootings in this country we need to stop all shootings, not just the ones that involve rich white kids.

Why is the rate of murder rate with a specific weapon more important to you than the total murder rate? If someone is killed with a knife, or a club, or an assailants bare hands, is that not just as much a problem as when someone is shot to death?
