What's with this annoying debating strategy asking sources FOR everything? Do you think it makes you sound smarter asking for a source that the sky is blue?

It probably started with the annoying debating strategy of people making unsubstantiated claims.

People don't have to substantiate common sense claims.

People don't have to substantiate any claim

It's proper debating form to substantiate a claim, especially if requested to do so.

You started with the words "only a very small percentage" which implies some exact number. So cite that exact number please. And then define "common sense" because mine is different than yours. It was common sense 500 years ago that the sun revolved around the earth. Then someone had the audacity to find out what happens in reality. You know the rest of the story. (At least I think you do.)

Look kid, believe what you want. I'm not going to waste 1 second googling it. If you think this makes yourself feel smart, give yourself a star and pat yourself on the back.

I don't care if you google it or not. But quit making specific claims that you can't substantiate.

This is the exact reason that claims should be verified.

There will always be those people, although it is fewer than it used to be. There was some humor in the post, but also a lot of truth. I really think there were a lot of people that went the "Cheney" route soon after he changed his mind. He was influential with conservatives (not at all with anyone else).

I imagine certain topics are off limits in those families during family'holiday gatherings!

Did you ever notice everything is ground breaking and historical? And I would say a big majority of Americans can really care less about gay marriage.
