Yeah, he knew the flashlight didn't work, so he brought it along for, uh, what now?
One of the witnesses stated that the flashlight was harmless. He, initially, thought it was one of the more sturdy metal flashlights. So, the flashlight is irrelevant.

What the hell does that have to do with anything? What does it prove or disprove. OH MY GOSH HE HAD A FLASHLIGHT AND IT DIDNT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE MUSTVE BEATEN MARTIN WITH IT OR THREATENED HIM WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!
You cant admit you dont have a case, never had a case, so you keep spouting of garbage that means nothing.

Reason: STOP the flaming
Both Zimmerman and Martin couldve both been wrong or right in this situation BASED ON what we know and dont know. Both couldve thought they were in the right. Zimmerman looking out for his neighborhood spotting someone he doesnt know. Martin thinking he's being followed by someone he doesnt know. Up until Martin being on top of Zimmerman and getting shot, we know nothing else except what Zimmerman has said.
So based on that, how in the hell, no matter what you feel about either person, can you find Zimmerman guilty? This whole trial comes down to the above paragraph since next to nothing was proven in court. The ONLY way you find him guilty for any charge is if you are NOT sticking to the facts and not following the law. PERIOD.
Not one of you can argue against that with merit and you know it.
I could see a manslaughter conviction, based on the mistake GZ made by not identifying himself as well as his action of reaching into his pocket(for his phone?) as TM approached him(SYG on TM's part), but then you'd have to ignore the mistakes TM made at the same time, ie not continuing to retreat when it was shown to be possible, continuing the physical assault, when he had him down and saw that GZ was not fighting back.
You libs are a sad excuse for beings.

I just don't understand how the judge can allow the jury to consider a charge of manslaughter when he was never even charged with manslaughter! He was charged with murder in the 2nd degree and it's up to the D. A to prove that. Its as if the judge is giving the state a 2nd chance to bury Zimmerman given that they blew their chance on proving 2nd degree murder.
