Unfortunately, the Martins lied through their teeth. They said they would accept the verdict. They haven't and are still publicly crying through their lying eyes, which keeps the whole thing up front.
Just go away. It's over. Deal with it and move on.
We don't know that it's over, there may be a civil suit over the horizon.

Easier said than done. Did you say the same thing about Nicole Simpson's family? I am so disgusted by the lack of empathy. It never ceases to disgust me.

How irresponsible.
She is trying to save her self from the angry mobs....
He has civil immunity, chances of a civil action are remote.
I would say chances of a successful civil action are remote. I'm sure someone will file against him, then it will get dismissed. But the media will get a chubby for awhile covering the new lawsuit.
Absolutely. She has to go back out there and defend her verdict to a potentially hostile community...it's a sad day in America when a juror has to claim the law "forced" her to do the right thing.
This is the bigger problem when the well is poisoned to the extent that you have a whole demographic willing to arrive at a conclusion without being intimate with the facts of any case.
Here's a juror having to go back into her community when no less than the President of the United States of America has all but declared the guilt of the defendant beforehand AND publicly stated he thinks justice was shortchanged after the verdict. Cripes!
The courage those jurors have shown in going against the "flow" and making a finding based on the "facts in evidence" alone is absolutely unparalled given the stacked deck they were faced with going into the trial.
Someone of very unimpeachable charcter and high profile should have come out and lauded these jurors for their courage and fortitude and instead what do we see; everyone running for cover fearful to take a supportive stance for the Justice system working as it was designed and intended.
A sad day indeed when your media has all but left their ethics in the locker room and your very President allows his own racial prejudice to attempt to influence the outcome of a trial.
