police officials around the country are calling it an urban myth and say that the violent incidents are random assault attacks and not an epidemic.

Not one of those stories confirm that the knockout game exists or that it is real.

Again no police official or perpetrator has said this thing exists, it is a media creation that are taking random senseless assaults and creating a sick racist narrative that is apart of the American tradition of fear of black male violence.

Sorry OP, But I hope this thread closes very soon. It is futile and you wont get any sympathy bringing up this kind of topic from CD racists who share many law enforcement department's slave owner mentality. The perpetrators dont want to discuss nor reason on what they practice daily. Read what happened to a college instructor who naievly attempted to initiate a related discussion during a class: Black College Instructor Claims She Was Punished For Discussing Racism

I appreciate the share and understand your sentiment.

I understand where your coming from but disagree about the purpose of the thread. This thread has been great for raising awareness, researching instances of racial profiling and Police misconduct/corruption, and understanding the mindset of the opposition (I believe you are right in that some just do not care).

There's been quite a few posters who've expressed interest despite the loud and vocal minority that often type the most but say the least.

Every Movement has to get a start somewhere and somehow. Just a few years ago all of the posters were calling me crazy for supporting Occupy and raising questions about Income Inequality. Just a few weeks ago the Pope addressed income inequality and the discussion is now on the national stage.

I'll take being quote unquote "radical" and right, than conservative and wrong, or mainstream and wrong.

Racial Profiling of Latinos In North Carolina County Confirmed By Justice Department Study | Fox News Latino

John Lamberth, retired chair of the Department of Psychology at Temple University, concluded that Johnson's deputies cited Latinos for violations at a rate more than six times higher than for whites. He said the statistical odds were far less than one in a million that such a sizable racial disparity could occur by chance.

"The observed disparities in ... traffic enforcement are larger than any I have previously observed at a law enforcement agency in the United States," wrote Lamberth, who has testified as an expert in numerous court cases.

In this thread you'll find multiple claims by Law Enforcement themselves, as well as judges, who have either been racially profiled, or feel that its a serious problem in this country. The article below details the experience of a Law Enforcement officer.

"According to The Associated Press, Sharpe's problems began last Friday while she was off-duty doing some shopping at a dollar store. A uniformed officer allegedly confronted her and started haranguing her. Sharpe had apparently parked in a spot that blocked the officer's vision from something he was monitoring for an investigation.

Sharpe’s attorney claimed that officer used "all types of curse words and [made] comments to her that I can’t repeat."

The policewoman went about her business in the store but upon returning to her car, she was again targeted by the officer outside, who continued screaming at her. Sharpe then left, but it wasn’t long before she was pulled over by the same officer and taken into custody. She was later charged with resisting arrest. "

This is 100% right on. Drug laws inherently discriminate against those who have been historically discriminated against in the workforce. Nothing would benefit the urban poor more than ending the drug war.

Iceland grieves after police kill a man for the first time in its history | Public Radio International

"The nation was in shock. This does not happen in our country," said Thora Arnorsdottir, news editor at RUV, the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service.

She was referring to a 59-year old man who was shot by police on Monday. The man, who started shooting at police when they entered his building, had a history of mental illness.

It's the first time someone has been killed by armed police in Iceland since it became an independent republic in 1944. Police don't even carry weapons, usually. Violent crime in Iceland is almost non-existent

Yes, but not without getting your rights beaten into you first, getting dragged through the criminal justice system, only to have your bogus charges dropped in the end of all that (after spending time in jail) because the racist cop and DA finally realized that you were right

It contrasts our country with another country where there are good relations between the Police and the citizens.

Their first shooting at the hands of Police in over 6 decades.

We have a very violent culture (and have had one) and it seems like some are trying to place all the blame on "race."
