In this case, science is not our enemy. You might be born gay, but this person was born a male. He was meant to be born a male. He still is a male. And he will always be a male. He has an X and Y chromosome. Science says: MALE
I am not denying that this boy wants to be a girl, clearly he does. But it is a mental disorder that requires psychological treatment, not genital mutilation.
Her brain is clearly not male.
It's called Gender Identity Disorder and the treatment is gender reassignment.

She is not crazy.
Prove it. Prove that his brain is female, and that it isn't a psychological disorder. I proved my piece. Heck, the boy said he has a penis. The parents admit they're blocking hormones to prevent male puberty. We know that he was "meant" to be born a male because he has X and Y chromosomes. Now you prove that his brain is "female" and that it isn't a psychological disorder. If he was born in the wrong body, then explain why.

The medical community already disagrees with you, the burden is on you, a person who clearly has no medical training or any standing whatsoever to debate accepted medical opinion, to prove they're wrong. Researchers have already offered up several valid biological causes for this (meaning its physiological, not mental), and have published peer-reviewed research that shows differences in the brains of transsexual men and women. Now prove they're wrong.

Again, science is your enemy.
Oh ok. Where is the peer-review researched on people being accidentally born male? I wasn't aware a sperm could fertilize an egg with a Y chromosome, but somehow the fetus was supposed to be female? Your story isn't lining up. This leads me to believe it's a psychological disorder, which, by the way, I am totally compassionate of. I really feel for those parents and that confused little boy; however, treatment lies in modern psychology, not genital mutilation.

I literally have almost 30 more of these.
So, I read that first one. I am not saying there is no such thing as gender identify disorder, clearly it exists. What I am saying is that changing genitalia isn't going to fix the problem. You can't prove that he was born in the wrong body. If that's the case, do we need to start reassessing genetics? Do X and Y make a girl now?
