After Ukraine Incursion, U.S. Moves to Kick Russia Out of G8 - ABC News

In a joint statement disseminated by the White House on Sunday, the leaders of the U.S., UK, France, Germany, Canada, Italy, Japan all pledged “to suspend our participation in activities associated with the preparation of the scheduled G-8 Summit in Sochi in June, until the environment comes back where the G8 is able to have meaningful discussion.” They also “condemn[ed] the Russian Federation’s clear violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.”
U.S. officials offered not-so-veiled threats that the G8 could kick Russia out altogether.

---

The only thing Obama has going for him are the other countries involved. The last thing Russia wants is to be thrown out of the G8, and boycotted by their major trading partners.

Doesn't anyone else find the timing of this to be suspect in relation to Obama announcing we are downsizing out military? Why does this administration telegraph every military move?

Community organization skills don't deter Putin in the slightest.

That's the whole point. This is not our equation. Thus, we need not provide a solution.

Did you read my reply?
That was the solution.

Did Russia interfere with The US when we invaded Grenada or when we went into Iraq?
