Tell that to folks starting threads like these -- intended to be nothing more than a Christian bash fest -- so that they can divert from ACTUAL problems and threats affecting the country and world.

Some of us have looked into the story a little deeper than you have.

Do you have any factual sources to back any of these "claims" up?

Ah, that explains the hatred toward the Tea Party...

Perhaps if people actually saw Christians registering concern about things that actually matter, instead of spending inordinate amounts of energy trying to tell people how to live their personal lives --- you would end the "Christian bash fest" (AKA, hypocrisy hunting season).

When was the last time a Christian preacher railed against poverty like Jesus did in order to get people to the polls to tackle those issues?

No, instead they bang the drums to rally voters to vote against things like gay marriage or "family values," etc.

Face it: Your problem is INTERNAL, and you have a public relations problem. Just like the Muslims, you consistently show one face to the world and then demand everyone look past it to see what you're "really like."

That is not our burden.

Their hypocrisy, like taking farm subsidies while whining about the 'nanny state' explains it better.

How children are educated in this country isn't an 'actual' problem?

Guess what, none of that makes the news. It's too "feel-good" for that and doesn't fit the agenda. Doesn't mean it's not happening.

I'm guessing it wasn't a Christian who started this thread. See how that works?

They have you see what they want you to see. And people like you fall right into it.

But continue on with the bashfest and Jesus-insulting. At least you don't have to worry about us rioting and threatening murders over that, unlike the other religion you so enjoy comparing us to.

If you want the state/Feds to take over PRIVATE schools, so be it.

Come back when something like this happens in PUBLIC schools. Until then, this is nothing more than a bunch of faux-outrage.
